played a show this weekend. of the other 3 bands the best tone was a 100w evh 5153.

The 6534+ is one hell of an amp, had one for a while, loooved it. Sold it just because i could have a very similar tone with my JBE mod on my Friedman, of course the Friedman has more character and richness, but the 6534 is hard to beat for the $$$$$

I've owned about 3-4 5150's and I just keep coming back to them. Grab a boost and a noise suppressor and you're golden. I've been noticing even when death metal bands go to Axe-FX and Kempers they've been using the 5150 blocks/profiles. The amp is really unbeatable the way it sits in a mix for that heavy musix.
