I am going on a road trip and i wonder if there is a way to play my electric guitar and hear the sound amplified? I want to be able to plug into my car somehow and hear it too. How can this be done?

You woud have to use your smartphone with a guitar app & audio interface for guitar. If you have a newer style 2 DIN head unit for your car, you can plug the output of your audio interface into the car stereo’s 3.5mm (1/8” ) audio input jack and send your guitar signal into your car audio.

Bias app is pretty legit.

Its my dads 2020 or 2019 nissan sentra everything stock. I am not sure what it has besides the standard aux port, etc....

a pignose amp.. Other than that you could use an iphone app with an adapter, into some headphones??

I know in my car I can play anything into my stereo with Bluetooth. I don't see how a different software couldn't

Guitar -> Vox Amplug audio out -> Car aux in

The amplugs don’t have the best tone but they are perfectly fine for some jamming / practicing. Amplug even has a line in so you can connect an audio source if you want to jam along.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I forgot to add that, I would want some brutal chugg abd lead tones and, I am on the road friday...so no time for me to order anything and wait for it to be shipped. Also, I don't own any apple products.

Wow. I'm bad. Almost a waste of a thread! Sorry! :)

But no, it's good to know these products exist for the future for sure.

My Mum complains I keep spannering her with the back of the headstock
She now sits in the back on long journeys

In high school we used an adapter to plug a small peavey amp into the cigarette lighter of the car and jam in the parking lot... I remember The Trooper was a big hit

Nady used to make this thing called an AX1000 that was a radio transmitter; plug your guitar in to it and tune to a certain radio station and then your guitar was coming through the radio.

Sounded like shit but it was still neat lol

These days I'd just run a cable from the headphone out jack of my Yamaha THR10X in to the aux in jack on my car stereo. Though I'm wondering why you'd want to do this instead of just playing through a guitar amp lol

Maddnotez - good to see you again and that's a great suggestion

Not a waste of a thread at all. Great question. I've learned something. I go to my cabin a lot and don't really want to leave an amp (speakers) there.

In the old days I used to plug my Fender G-Dec into the lighter adapter of my truck. Kinda worked :D

Katana mini and whatever you need to power it might work.

Whats up bro.... I put in a sweet order to MI Audio in Australia recently. When its ready we should jam it out. Supposed to be a monster.

To the OP yeah, unfortunately Bias only works with Apple (afaik) unfortunately.

I remember jer made a boss katana vid in his car   thing has a built in speaker although that isnt the same thing and idk how he got power to it.
