So I have a Line 6 Pod HD500x and I want to play along to some backing tracks I have.. Is it possible to load those tracks onto my Pod and play them through there? Or do I have to just use the MP3 out and connect my phone to play the backing tracks (The sound is pretty muffled using this method)?

Thanks!

Don't think so. You can't do that on the 500, and I believe very little changed from the the 500-500x.

To the muffled issue.
Are you trying to gig or just using it at home? Not that that matters much.....
What are you using for your playback?, amp, power monitors, headphones, etc
What are you using for cables out?, USB, xlr, 1/4", 4cm, etc.

Hey I actually fixed the muffled noise and I'm playing through a Line 6 Spider valve 40Watt tube amp. I connected my amp to the pods right mono out and connected my guitar directly into the "guitar out" in the pod.and have my ish connected to the pod through my computer for adding custom tones I recently downloaded.

I suppose it's alright if I can't play the backing tracks directly.

I'm also using this in my room but I'm thinking of joining a band soon :)

Thanks!
