I'm so sick of these boy-band core bands that think they're tough because they can scream and use auto-tune. :doh:
And what's with the synchronized, over the top weird headbanging/seizure-like shit they're doing?
Man, Killswitch Engage started a good thing with metalcore, and ever since it's been a steady decline of talent with all these copy-cat metal wannabes. I mean they're making a living playing music, but it just sucks.
 
This is literally the exact same thing as 80s hair metal. Dumb choreographed moves, doing shit to appeal to chicks, etc.

If this was some guy waving his superstrat like a cock while wailing away shitty pentatonic licks it would be the exact opposite response here.

All the metal guys on this forum also seem to have no problem with the lame and overdone choreographed/ intentionally synchronized headbanging bullshit that goes on in metal videos to appear "tr00 metal", either.

The music still sucks, but let's get real. :D

Edit: Hahah godDAMN that 90s trance bit was funny. These guys clearly have a sense of humour, at least.

Shit, I wish the bands that I hear play around here were at least half that good. I thought their drummer was great!

You are an idiot. CC deville has more talent in his left nut than this whole band combined. Poison never looked or sounded this stupid when they were TRYING too. Last I checked, 80's bands didn't have the luxury of slathering their terrible music with auto-tune. At least the music they made mas actually real. I am not an "80's guy" or "shred guy" either, so you can throw that retort out the window.

The fact that you mention "pentatonic licks" as an example of poor musicianship that is highly regarded is beyond stupid. Scales do not make or define music. Maybe you will figure that out someday.

These guys all seem to have their musical/instrument shit together. Just because they don't play what you like doesn't mean they have no talent.

80s glam guys made music that as as "real" as these guys. Doesn't mean the music was necessarily bad, but they played music in a style that was popular because it appealed to people and they dug it. Same as these guys.

I said "shitty pentatonic licks". Maybe you will figure out what the difference between good use of pentatonics and bad use is. And scales are a huge part of music. In fact, you could literally say they often do "make and define" music. Maybe you'll figure that out one day, too.
