ISO Cab for recording? Or Cab Sim?

Hey guys!

I've been curious about some of the alternatives out there for recording guitars. What are the better ISO cabs out there? On the flip side, any good Cab Sims out there? Alternatives to a Palmer maybe?

I owned a Palmer -04 ( I think ) and I hated it ! The only ISO Cab that I had was the GrendelSound and I loved it ....

I've owned 3 Grendel Dead Rooms...2 older ones, and 1 newer design. They all are REALLY REALLY good. I've done tons of recording with all of them, and I've had great results.

I just sold one of my MkI versions to a friend, who loves it also. I am selling the second MkI version I have. It's in great condition. Unloaded $250 plus shipping / paypal.

i was wanting to try one out too...but for $999..fuck that!
 
Isocab is not bad at all. The question is how quiet you need to be, because more often than not a cranked isocab will be still pretty loud.

Reverb impulses might work after the isocab, otherwise you don't get that cool cabinet & speaker compression effect.

Have the Palmer 04 and yeah, it sucks. But I have 2 Palmer 03s and they rock.

Wouldn't mid trying any of the isocabs listed, but I would buy one without being able to try it.

You yelling about high prices is not allowed :thumbsdown: :D

I will admit the price is high and Zorran is a freak behind the board, my results would no doubt be worse.
