what is the proper signal chain. I'm running a voodoo labs gcx switcher for pedals up front and in the loop. Guitar into decimator first or into the gcx buffered input?

Also should I ditch the gcx and get the rjm effects gizmo. Is it that much better?

Guitar in to Decimator.
Out of Decimator in to the front of your signal chain.
Amp FX send in to Decimator input and out in to Effects.
Effects out in to amp FX return.

I really can't speak to the other issue.

This is the same way I use it too. Fantastic piece of equipment.

Same answers here although with the GCX you can run it into the GCX loops too....In case you want to turn it off for cleans or whatever you do...I run a loop outta my GCX into the loop of my amp and also to the front end....I own 5 G Racks! One for every high gain amp in the studio...It's the best noise redux available and I don't know how they'll make it better....
