So i'm shopping for another 1x12 to team up with my ISP 210 subwoofer. Anyone have any experience with the ISP G112? I think it comes with a T75 in it, my plan is to put a Redback 150w in it and team it up with a very old Bogner cube which I plan to also put a Redback 150 in. Or am I better off with a second but newer Bogner cube? The goal is to sound huge and yet be portable and not hurt my back with 4x12's and what not.

Looking at the pic, doesn't seem to have a back panel to remove. I'm guessing the front can pop open and maybe it's front loaded? The website says its baltic birch. http://www.isptechnologies.com/portfolio/g112/

Mesa theile.
I've looked at those. I guess for now i'm eyeing the ISP for two reasons, the price is $291 on SW and its the same height as my ISP 210 Vector so I can place my head on both of them side by side. Or I was gonna get a second bogner cube to place the head on those and put the 210 sub to the side.

But now I just got sidetracked by these Celestions with Neo magnets. On paper the Copperback 250 sounds awesome at 5 pounds but no demos out anywhere. The neo creamback demos sounded pretty good. I'm wondering if I should just re-outfit my big cab with Neo's  Just by installing them i'd shave off close to 20 pounds on my main cab.

I was interested in these as well, but they are a special order. I’m pretty sure Ethan Brosh once toured with one or two of these on his Yngwie tour before he got the digital ISP preamp.
Find it hard to give up my Marshall 4x12 after a few go arounds with 2x12s though, just never sounds the same   everytime I try to downsize I go back

I am not trying to over push the theile, but one of them with an EV12L needs nothing for support as far as the low end goes.

Also on the cheap, you could have the cab built by a carpenter and throw a Eminence delta pro A with the heavier magnet and have a massive tone too.

Just a thought.

The two 1x12 cabs paired with the isp sub has been a dream portable rig for me for a long time. Glad to see you making it happen. I still run my big 15" vector subs with 4x12s because I never move my gear.

A best bro of mine snaked my 2x10 sub and paired it with his mini mark v stack(two 1x12 mesa cabs). He loved the sub so much he didn't want to give it back. It works perfectly with his rig,so I let him have it for what I had in it.

You have seen how well the isp sub cabs are built. For the price(and if I was going to get the 1x12s to build the rig you are doing),I would get the isp cabs you posted. That material they put on the outside of those cabs is tough!

I hear ya man but I'm hoping two 150w redbacks and a 2x10 sub will sound good or at least better than a 2x12. Tweaked my back just a little last week transporting my cab. Hoping to find that happy medium of portability and chugging

I hear what you are saying but I guess i'm trying to have my gear kinda match each other a little hehe. For the price that ISP cab is worth trying and its the same size as my sub for stacking my head on. If it rocks I may just sell the bogner and get another isp 112.

I knew you would get it ;) I'm gonna go for it and get an ISP 112, if it rocks I may get another. That coating is rough as hell, I may have to put something over it so it fuck up the inside of my car lol. The only downside is it says it may take a few weeks to ship. I may contact them and see if then can ship with a different speaker. Thanks man I'll report back once I get it all up and running.

Gotcha.

I'm a little late to the party, but I have owned and sold the ISP 1X12 (also own the 2x10 sub). Found one used on GC for $225 I think. My honest opinion is that it is a mediocre cab...not bad, but not great. I tried a bunch of different speakers in it, including EVM12L, but every time my other 1x12 came out on top (Glaswerks 1x12 Thiele). It definitely pairs up well dimensionally with the 2x10 sub, so for the price I'd say it's worth a shot.

I have a Port City 1x12OS on order and am looking forward to a shootout with my thiele cab for the ultimate portable rig (JP-2C on top)

never tried this but any ISP product I have used was very very top notch. They know what they are doing. I would not hesitate to buy one blind if that is what you are in the market for.

Well I stopped by the local shop today to see if they had any 1x12s in the back or something... I spotted a 212 buried under a bunch of heads. It was a Randall 212NXT for $250-ish. It was a little beat but light. In fact too light which made me think it was empty maybe. Took a pic of the back, went to work and googled it. Looks like it has 2 x Randall branded Neo G12 Century Vintage in it which explains why it was so light and some weird cab emulator thing for mic outputs. I wonder if these are made in the USA or are these low tier Randall cabs? For the price I think it will work fine as a beater rehearsal cab... still gonna pair it with the ISP sub though, CHUG CHUG CHUG!!!

Thanks guys for the input, I appreciate it!

I had some in an old Randall cab. I like the weight of the neo, but I preferred other speakers at the time. That was probably 10 years ago and 15 cabs ago though. The weight was the most appealing thing.
