You have no reservations about a nuclear Iran, you’ve already said that. So the entire premise of why we bombed them is lost on you.

My question. Since you think it’s not our business to keep certain weapons out of the hands of sovereign nations, how can you oppose the US striking Iran for something as innocuous as the ayatollah threatening us ? I mean you can’t have it both ways. If it’s gonna be an uncontrolled world where everyone is allowed to have whatever they want you can’t very well fault ANY country for perpetrating violence on a nation who threatens them. Much less one who infiltrated the country and planned to assassinate political leaders.

I know you feel that way on a personal level. If a dude down the road threatened to take out you and your family you would behave proactively.

You are right in that regard but the idea Iran alone can do anything that amounts to more than a hill of beans against us isn't really plausible. Meanwhile China has hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals here, and owns lands in proximity to military bases. Nope, Iran Iran Iran. We've also been in bed with the Saudis, who, according to the same sources you are utilizing for this argument, funded the 9/11 terror attacks. But Iran.

Israel started the fight, let them finish it. Netanyahu is the bad neighbor telling me my other neighbor wants to kill me, so he can a)get rid of the neighbor he doesn't like while b) getting someone else to do his dirty work.

Iran with a nuke can do a lot of damage. And they are almost certainly the ones who would use it if they had it.

Use it against who? Israel? And that's my problem how? Our two governments are in bed together and they are deep state shit. If our military capabilities are what you say they are then Iran doing anything against us would be the worst mistake they ever made. I guess you could make the argument that we are hopefully nipping it in the bud to avoid a greater conflict but when my neighbors are beefing I don't stick my beak in between two people throwing punches and this is the same sort of deal. The right supposedly doesn't want to play world cop anymore but it seems like a lot of people still have that mentality. Walk softly and carry a big stick is better policy.
