Ya know, yeah,
combine this m,that,-Boner’ fish ya momma,
- it’s Kinney who out line’s the framework
(And all merchandising, design, merchandise shark)
And most IMPORTANTLY, the signature tail-and
AIC “super-riff” sections ala’the end of “Would”, mid-section meltdown in“Again”,, etc.

I will soon be entering
“30 Days Of BONHAM”,
-30 days straight of playing my drums in the basement to monitors wired upstairs to ‘the’ LED Zeppelin’s vinyl records on a turntable on repeat.
That’s why I sold my business, my houses and all that gear,
I’m moved here to become exactly what I want to be as a drummer by influences.
“My troubles with be few”..:goodbye stranger’.,

With the guitar…
I’m just a Cream guy by nature, mixed with Dave Navarro( Janes Addiction).
I can’t change that, it’s all I followed to learn.
-and the only licks that cured my pain.
But not so with the “Serenity Chariot” (drumset).
Kinney is 1st week (after bludgeoning through the heavy hand & foot of John Nonham for 30 days)
-“sap” behind the groove,l right?
much like the sauce on the 1 like AC/DC actually,
Followed by. The 1st Foo’ Fighter’s record
(one week straight)
and then it’s
-ALL GInger Baker/Moonie THE Loonie, for one week straight..
then what is it that all metalhead meathead dude’s miss?
-Being a fucking bad-ass on the bass guitar-

*Walk her home.. or walk her to hell”.,
-in the pocket, ya hear*?

And yes, I’ll film day 1 and then day 30
of my beginnings & and the final version of me.
Ya’nwant some?
COME AND GET IT.
I’m always here jamming or cooking good healthy
tasty foods in the inbetweens,
- no booze or doobies-

Groovy, brah!

;)

J/K - I think Sean is a heavily underrated drummer. I've seen him many times, and the dude has some serious chops, and is a lot of fun to watch.

I’ve enjoyed playing drums more than guitar since I was about 15, I just never followed it enough to buy a set and space has always been an issue where I’ve lived. I can’t even fit an electric kit in my apartment now unless I give up my studio desk or living room couch.

Kinney is the shit and a very underrated drummer. The extent of his flashy shit is like the intro/groove to “No Excuses”, it’s not over the top but it’s tasty as fuck and I don’t think anything better could have been written for that song. That and the bass line carry that song the whole way, the guitars don’t have to do a damn thing but play the supporting role.

Listening to his drums and Cantrell’s tone, live, is practically all I need to enjoy an AIC show. I‘ve seen them 5-6 times with Will singing and one particular night, the Tsongas arena in Mass with Mastodon and Deftones, holy shit that was a great night. Hearing those tones and the drums booming across the arena….goddamn.

All class and no flash! If I remember right, he was mainly a jazz drummer growing up, or was taught jazz or something. I know jazz played a big role in his early life, not sure what capacity.
