I have my 2006 CL55 AMG and 2008 Ram 3500 on full coverage through Progressive. It's up for renewal, and I usually buy 6 months at a time. It'll cost me $462 to buy a full 6 months again at a time, but that's for Maine coverage. Now that I'm back in Tennessee, I don't know if it'll go up or not. Since it's time to renew and change the address anyway, does anyone have some companies they like? I hear Progressive is a REAL bitch to deal with if a claim is made, where something falls on it and damages it, or like if I were to hit someone, I just hear it's not a very easy or smooth process at all.

They all suck. It's all a scam. I use Nationwide though.

Shop around. I got ridiculous quotes from AllState and State Farm wasn't much better. I went to a private Agency. and saved money.

$462 for 2 vehicles for 6 months is great or am I reading that wrong ?

That's full coverage for 2 vehicles for 6 months paid in full. I was playing around with a quote from them to change my address to where I'm at now, and simply moving from Maine, where roads are notoriously icy/snowy with tons of accidents and vehicles rusting out and falling apart to Tennessee and they want to bump it to $542 now.

Well thats a great rate even at $542 for 6 months . Be thankful

im an agent. really no place to go to save money.
the whole country is shut down

They're talking from the good states to bail out the bad ones who have all the disasters.
Progressive runs hot and cold. Their rating system is heavily credit driven. I've seen them come in dirt cheap then again through the roof on another

as far as claims they all pull the same bullshit. you have no good neighbor and you're never in good hands

if it were me I have the Prog policy rewritten to TN. after you're all settled in then you can shop around

some companies require you to have 3 yrs residency before they will help you out with anything decent

whatever you do, do not, i mean do not bundle anything.

by doing this you're trapped in to one company.,

if they go bad, drop you or you miss a payment you just lost everything in one cancellation
