Yeah, it's shaped like a cock and balls, but its shaped like J.B.'s cock and balls. Since it's only a 2 watt bedroom amp I didn't need a very big example to model the headshell after. In fact - if it was not pointed out to you, you might not even see it sitting there

The mod that Bogner started doing in '04 on the red channel is something Mark came up with. I'm sure they won't admitt it, but I knew about the mod about a long time ago from Brent Pearcy, who got it from Mark C. Mark told me about the mod but Reinhold came up with it. It came down to two different revisions. One was the mod that Mark came up with that was more subtle in the gain department but gave it a good thick cut in the voicing. The other mod was the current mod thats on all post August 2004 XTC's that Reinhold came up with. Its actually the same exact revision that John Shur did on his OD100 SE, I don't know if thats coincidence or not but it is exactly the same mod.
