We're very proud to announce the release of our newest Jackson Ampworks Artist Profile video featuring legendary musician Robbie McIntosh!

When Robbie was in Dallas during the John Mayer Summer Tour he was kind enough to join us in a local studio and record a few videos for. These videos feature Robbie with the Britain 3.0 and no effects of any kind. Just the man, a guitar and the amp. Enjoy!

wow Brad, I loved the amp the first time you posted about it on thegearpage, but this is insane. It sounds AMAZING. The clean is very VOX like...i dig it, although I'm a Fender clean guy. But the OD channel.......my god.... it's clear as bell..... when robbie was playing those passages on the 6th and 5th string around the 12/13 fret, and STILL sounded clear...(that part of the fretboard tends to much a little bit if the gain structure of the amp is not too clear)

Amazing!

Amazing!

Thanks for the kind words! The lead tone Robbie was using was the 12W Class A mode that uses 2 EL84's. He's also using both channels with the Boost mode on Channel 1. The Boost mode bypasses the tone controls on Channel 1 which gives you back all the gain you lost going through the tone controls. You said it perfectly, it is clear because there is nothing inline; just the preamp tube, volume control and then on to the power amp! :)

Thanks again!

Yum, spam :inlove:

But for serious - sounds great man! Not my cup of tea but, impressive
