Good luck. I tried for years to place a Jackson or Charvel custom order a while back with several dealers (Matt's Music, Music Zoo, etc) and Jackson said "no" every time.

The only orders they would accept from non-endorsed artists were just custom selects (ie, minor color, hardware, or inlay options). Some dealers could place custom orders if it was a run of several guitars.

Schecter or ESP will still take total one-off custom orders.

I would be shocked if Jackson would build that. If they do expect to pay over $10k for that build and at least a 3 year wait.

I anticipated this bf even attempting it. Things are far different these days unfortunately.

Could you get a high end store to order it for themselves and pre-arrange a buy off them,as I know some stores seem to somehow get custom shop jacksons made for the store? Just an idea.

I'm not sure about this specific design (it looks not very Jackson like) but Sweetwater is capable of placing Jackson CS orders. Wait time is retarded though.

Time to call you rep and have him ask if those picks are working out for you :D

Any smaller builder recommendations on the west coast welcome!

The good ol' days at Jackson have been over for many years back when it used to build truly one off customs.

I would try to message Metal Joe Williams, Master Builder at Jackson. Maybe try messaging him on Instagram.
Joe Williams (@metaljoewilliams)

I dig what you are shooting for!
