I'm usually down for pointy and oddball shaped guitars, but that things looks like they used a toddler's crayon squiggles for the design.

I suspect it's the same thing that manufacturers have been calling Nato in the past. It's a mahogany alternative.
I will look into it. Just as long as it’s not some composite crap like the ibanez Xylos series garbage.

Wtf is Nyatoh? Says Nyatoh body
Is nyatoh/nato a good guitar tonewood? Nyatoh (often referred to as nato or “eastern mahogany”) is an affordable tonewood with a relatively bland tonal characteristic compared to real mahogany. Its low price and medium density, and hardness make it a great choice for bodies and necks of lower-end electric, acoustic and bass guitars.

Boring "blackout" color, FR Special, cheap wood, Indonesia, ... 1200,-
WTF, where is the guitar world going?

Seems like it should be priced like their x series, not sure how they came up with $1200. Other than the EMG's, evrything else on it is kinda crappy.

RC is a bit underrated. He played a lot of tasty fills and memorable leads on the classic first 3 Death Angel records. Still, I’m not sure he’s anybody’s favorite player so the appeal of a sig model seems very limited. They had many musical elements that were totally unique to thrash back then including a funky rhythm section, occasional clean harmonized duel melodic vocals and some nice almost Zeppelin ish acoustic passages. Nowadays with only 2/5 of the classic lineup intact they sound solid, sure, but quite generic and almost like any other modern Sneapified thrash band.

This is such a huge issue with modern metal

Literally EVERYTHING is "sneapified."

And you even have sneap nuthuggers like Fricker basically teaching everyone thru YouTube videos to sneapify their own recordings.

Everyones recordings have the same exhausting high output pup tube screamer v30 tone, the same Steven slate drum samples, and the same bass di/distorted double track.

It's so unbelievably banal and overwhelming that when you purposely make recordings that don't sound like sneap, people critique it as if you were trying to sound like sneap

Yeah I suspect this thing will be discontinued pretty quickly

he’s put his time in and is definitely underrated, I think a unique sig guitar is a nice reward.
