How much smaller (or "dinkier") is the Dinky? Is the only difference the size of the body?

Dinky is also a bolt on vs neck-thru, and also the back of the neck is unfinished.

I believe, at least for the older dinky's that they were 7/8 in size and had a 24 3/4 scale length.

The current Dinky and Soloist have the same size body. Dinkys are bolt ons and Soloists are neck thru. The necks are also different sizes, the Dinky being thinner.

I have an older dinky. Used and abused... I have to be honest, I'd rather have a soloist. It's an ugly duckling, but stilll plays like a Jackson. By the way, my next project is a rehab to get this guitar a step above beater status, any body got a black OFR they want to sell? At one time, this was an amazing guitar... I covered it with sitckers, chipped the headstock at a gig... abused the hell out of it.

The best sounding and playing Jackson ive ever touched was a Dk-1 dinky. This was back when they were 22 frets.

Really wish I bought that one...
