Anybody have experience with both? Any difference in the body size? I may be under the impression the ESP is a little bigger?

Thanks

DV-8 is definitely bigger. It’s a very large guitar.

DV8 body is bigger, also the neck was slightly thicker on my band mates DV8 compared to a King V

The ESP V (and DV8) is a Double Rhoads so the wings are quite a bit longer than the shorter Dave Mustaine sized King V.

I actually have a similar question about the size difference between the DV8 and the Dean VMNT. I've never really been able to get my hands on a VMNT, so I have no basis for size comparison. I already have a massive, unwieldy, ridiculously awesome guitar. If the VMNT is a little smaller I might be interested in one of those. Anyone who has experience with one, please feel free to chime in, haha

I have a dean dealer not to far from me and have seen their V’s. They seemed like a petite guitar to me.

For what its worth I have a King V KV2F the F has different humbuckers and jumbo frets.......I LOVE THIS GUITAR! I picked it up for a £1.3k it's £3.2k new, it's had 1 dink replaired which is really hard to notice, but this guitar is the holy grail for me.......I have a hand built PRS Custom 24 which is lovely also but I'd go for the Jackson!
