Who's got one and can give some info and opinion. It's not neck heavy, isn't it?
I'm interested in getting 1.

I got one last year. Incredible guitar. Plays great and sounded awesome. I really liked the JB-Jazz combo in it, but had my mind set on one of my bucket list item, which was a RR-1T just like Hammett's, so I got some old EMGs in it. The guitar is fantastic, with perfect intonation up to last fret and stays in tune incredible well. Very well weight balanced, extremely well setup from factory too. I liked it so much that I'm seriously thinking about getting another one just to have the JB-Jazz and EMG options.Who's got one and can give some info and opinion. It's not neck heavy, isn't it?

That helps. Thanks. What tuning do you have on that RR1T. I would be using my D'addario 14-68 in A Standard and other than putting Schaller Strap-Locks on it, i plan to keep it stock, if i buy. Maybe i should just order one. Not sure if i can justify the Price, given that i got my ESP Standard V-2 Pretty cheap...I got one last year. Incredible guitar. Plays great and sounded awesome. Anyway, hope that helps.
That doesn't help with not buying itHonestly for me the RR1's are the most confortable guitar shape in the business
That makes sense to me. When i compared my ESP v-II to a Gibson Les Paul Custom it not only had the same growl, it also played aka reacted faster than the Les Paul.Mine has a Les Paul growl
Same tone wise when playing clean
Thanks.I had an RR Custom (before the RR1 designation). It was definitely not neck heavy.
I use mine in standard E standard or Drop D only. Strings are 10-46.That helps. Thanks. What tuning do you have on that RR1T. I am with you on that matter, that is why i play Vs and Xs only. can´t stand super strats1 more thing: The lower horn of the V prevents the guitar from wobbling, when i play fast. Like 16th notes. How dou say that? In german i would write "16tel". Is the RR1 more like a Strat in that regard/wobbling like it. I don't have that with Les Pauls. Vs and Les Pauls are my favorite guitar shapes btw.
Not sure if i can get the nuts right. Especially wit the string angle the headstock has. I always file them myself with tools that are not really suited for the JobI use mine in standard E standard or Drop D only. Strings are 10-46.
