Jackson USA select series soloist or American series soloist ???

I thought about picking up one or the other of these used . My guitar guru buddies say I want the select series USA model as opposed to the American Series. Anyone have any input here ? I have to admit I do like the position of the volume knob and the bolt in pickups better in the American series but Just thought I would toss this out.

I picked up a mint USA SL1 for 1900 recently. There’s no way in hell I’d pay 2600 for the stripped down American series when you can get minty fresh used “real” soloists for the same or less.

USA Select or look for a MIJ "pro" even the Pro XL's play killer and you can get them for a 1/3 of the price

I didnt know that the Jackson usa price has went down... but 1.9k for a well used jackson SL1 is a handsdown good buy !!
