Saw Jake this past Saturday at Reggies in Chicago!! Man he rocked it!! The band has greatly improved since they started touring!! Greg Chaisson is playing bass for them now!!
 
quick post a video on you tube so the whole internet can say how much darren sucks :lol: :LOL: ..... :doh: (and no i'm not one of the haters, I really like his voice and love the album....wish I would get the chance to see them live but it pretty much a given they will never come to new zealand)

He actually did not sound bad at all.
 
I have come to the conclusion I do not like him singing the Ozzy songs, I think he tries to sound like ozzy and just makes it sound like crap. However singing the bandlands stuff and RDC stuff he sounds great. Check out the full interview he did with Eddie Trunk on Dec 1st if you have not already.

Yeah, they were here Friday. Darren did a good job. He didn't butcher Gillen's parts on the Badlands songs.

And Jake is still the man!
 
I have known DJ since 1987 or so. I'm sure you all know he is really a drummer.
 
I saw them in Toronto last week, it was a great show. It was the first time I had ever seen Jake before so I was really stoked for it. I didn't realize the singer was originally from a local Toronto band (who opened the show too). He sounded great, especially the Badlands songs.

Surprised Jake was running through a Line 6 head. I don't know if it was the local bands head, or a rental, as he was playing with the knobs a lot, but the 5150iii that was there wasn't on.
 
homecoming for DJ was pretty cool I bet.

L6? he has definitely been using the 5153 with his small pedalboard, amp must have been broke
 
Saw them last night in Dayton Ohio, and the singer was spot on dude... i'm picky on singers, not a big fan of his scratchy tone, but he was hitting the notes, and on some shit thats hard to sing. dont think i heard a bum note all night.
 
I am going to the show tonight in Cleveland. Expecting good things.

great song... one of my fav's on the album. Really tough song to pull of live given the production that went into the album version
