Interesting video.. while Jake is solo-ing the caption mentiones he would prefer to play in a small band than deal with shady promoters and play Bark at the Moon 750 more times. I thought that was funny.
This from another board

If the band is looking to get press by making it look like he played the solo, I don't want to rain on their promotion parade. The fact is Jake didn't play on the song I don't care what you read. Ask anyone in that band or buy the cd and you will see he does not appear. I'm not trying to be mean or rain on anyone's parade just stating the facts
Odd... why would he bother playing the solo in the vid??? There were elements that really sounded like him. He also looks like he is actually playing the lead meaning he must have knowledge of the notes to play..... so why not just play it. can't say anything else sounded like him on any of the tunes i listened to.
No wonder he's sick of the biz- he's in a video, playing the notes, getting his sound with his feel, has a funny note over his head implying he's not into the rock star treadmill anymore- and there are still people saying it's not him.
I bet if he was sitting naked on a blanket in the middle of a meadow with an acoustic guitar there would be haterz standing next to him looking around for a playback device.
Sounds like Jake to me....he's always been my favorite Ozzy guitarist (put away the pitchforks) ...dude just has a GREAT sense of melody.....love his writing..... always have
I enjoyed watching that video, it had the musicians playing, fun sub-titles and facts, and cool guests! The song was a little Baywatchy, but good quality rock with a killer solo - what's not to like!?
That might very well be Jake playing, but that solo sounded nothing like him to me. Most everything of Jake's says "wow" to me. He is a "wow" player. That was a "good" solo. Nothing "wow" about it. That could have been anyone to me. He is not only my favorite Ozzy guitar player, but one of my favorite players of all time. In either case it was great seeing him, playing in any way shape or form.
