FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

After all these years, that "Trail of Tears" solo section still makes my jaw drop.

unbelievable. I sure had good taste back in high school.

SO what did James use on this album?

I seem to remember he used Les Pauls? maybe a Mesa Rectifier?

Go to the Sneap forums and ask him..... he's on there alot.

That's good stuff for sure, but I prefer his playing on Cause of Death. Maybe Peres' thick sludgy rythym had something to do with it, but his leads on CoD were killer IMO!

I just put "LOW" on my ipod yesterday....Trail of Tears is awesome ....

Cause of death, one of my faves from back in the day.
James Murphy = :worship: :worship:

My band tracked our CD with him a while back......I asked him this question specifically.

All Rhythm's were Boosted Recto's and the Leads was an XTC.

Fuck Yeah! I listen to CoD often. For me, Obituary and Death ARE what Death Metal is all about! I loved that shit back in the late 80's/early 90's and still love those bands today!
And yes, Murphy does = :worship: :worship:

Dog Faced Gods!

I haven't listened to "Low" in a long time. Might have to dig that one out.
