unbelievable. I sure had good taste back in high school.

SO what did James use on this album?

I seem to remember he used Les Pauls? maybe a Mesa Rectifier?

That's good stuff for sure, but I prefer his playing on Cause of Death. Maybe Peres' thick sludgy rythym had something to do with it, but his leads on CoD were killer IMO!

My band tracked our CD with him a while back......I asked him this question specifically.

All Rhythm's were Boosted Recto's and the Leads was an XTC.

Fuck Yeah! I listen to CoD often. For me, Obituary and Death ARE what Death Metal is all about! I loved that shit back in the late 80's/early 90's and still love those bands today!
And yes, Murphy does =
