The integration with Line 6 Mobile In looks cool as well. Hope this partnership helps them get access to more songs.

It definitely does, although that particular piece of Line 6 gear has been getting some mixed reviews. The way it works with Jammit seems pretty damn cool. I only hope that the hardware side gets better and that they allow it to work with more stuff. I also can't wait for the library to expand, and the full albums to be released (King's X especially!) Oh yeah, and F-U Richie Kotzen. I spent too much time today working on some tracks on slow mo...only to get frustrated...just to put them on regular speed and have my head blown...and these were his bluesier tracks...lol. Well, I guess I can only get better. I will never be that 4 yr old on youtube....boohoo. Then again I probably shouldn't be trying to learn someone so awesome, I should be trying to learn some shit band that will take me 20 sec and make myself feel better....lol...hmm let me go check that library.

Yeah I haven't really looked into what people are saying about that Line 6 adapter. I wonder if it would work with any of them or if the software looks just for the Line 6 thing?
I have not downloaded it or bought any songs but I will soon. I need to have my mind blown like you. I'm so stuck in a rut with my playing and need to be blown out of that rut.

I probably have about 30 songs or so. Maybe a little less. Definitely mastered none...but I haven't really sat down and devoted that much time. Some of it I got just because I knew most of the tracks and wanted the backing to mess with. Others, I wanted because I am just not on the level of the artists (like Kotzen) and really wanted to be able to work on his stuff. Shit, I even got the vocal version to his tracks, because I love his voice and my voice just sucks ass. I really wanted to hear what it sounds like breaking out the vocal track...and it is very cool. It even helped me suck less, but I still suck...lol. I got both of his tracks for guitar and vocal. I love Billy Idol and Steve Stevens so Rebel Yell was the first track I got. I also got the vocal for that. I can't wait to mess with that...should be fun...lol..BECAUSE (in the midnight hour....)
This has so many possibilities for future use, if they can get more rights and expand the library. I really do wish they can offer special pricing on say package deals that offer you versions with everything or at least what you want, so that you don't have to buy multiple versions of the same track. I understand it though. I think their prices are fair. The vocal tracks are cheaper than the guitar tracks. The guitar tracks typically are priced based on difficulty, although they have sales. I've paid like 99cents for some songs....Mostly classic rock (which come in handy in a collection anyway.)

Their are vocals in the "band" track, only the guitar tracks can be isolated. You can mute each track. For instance, In the guitar track version, you can mute each guitar track, the band track, the click, and the you track. You also get notation in standard and tab for each instrument. So if there are say multiple guitars, you click on the guitar you want to learn and follow that part. It is pretty cool.
The vocal version has the opposite. It has a vocal track, a "band track, a click track, and a you. It has lyrics. You can isolate the vocals and see exactly how the artists sings the track, along with the lyrics. It is pretty cool....especially when you mute the band track.
