Great amp! I've had mine since the mid 90's and it has never let me down.

Found one used at sam ash 349$ is it worth it??

Well, that is what it is worth so being a Marshall ask yourself, do I want a tube, English made Marshall that's only worth $349 ?

Whenever I come across something that's average but priced well I don't think of it as a deal but, for eg. $349 I could put towards a better amp and be happy vs. $349 that ultimately got pissed away because I got an amp that's just average and I can't sell it later either. That being said if you play through it and think it sounds tits, get it. I got a Laney AOR50 for that same amount because even though I never thought of them as great, when I plugged into it, it rivaled any JCM800 I'd played and even has some sounds in it they can't do.

Those are great amps. I would drop $350 on one every day of the week.

Yes. Depends on what you play. For that price you can send it off for some mods. I always had a overdrive pedal in front of mine and a little EQ and the amp can sound really good.

I sold mine this summer for $600, so yes, $349 is a nice deal!

Get it. Last month scored a JCM900, JCM900 cabinet for $250 including a Sabine Rack tuner. Just slap a tube screamer in-front and you are set. Love the recording compensated out as well. Sounds awesome running this out into my AXE FX 2/Matrix Poweramp and then back out to cabinets for super low volume playing. Preamp tone is killer in this arrangement.

yea i plugged into and sounded great im using a plexi now but its just something about a 900 ive always liked and for 350 i think its a deal.Im playing in a band that has a heavy yet spacey sound so i use many pedals but love the distortion of the 900.
