I finally got a new setup and am loving it. My old rig is a Peavey Ultra Plus and i really liked the clean tone out of it. This marshall is a little muddy on the clean side. Any suggestions to brighten it up?

I've got the 6 band, you can see it in the pic. I use it on the high gain channel

Frank Hannon of Tesla has used 900's quite a bit in the past.

Frank always has great tone.

I've seen Navarro a handful of times and he always sounded fantastic.

No personal experience with the 900's, but could this be a pickup <-> amp issue? I have some pickups that just don't sound all that fantastic through certain amps. Eq's help, but can be difficult to dial in/out, compared to other pups through same amp, with no (outside) Eq'n.

-well thats something you don't hear everyday, "I wanna brighten up the tone of my Marshall" ...... what speakers are in the cab?-(probably 75's, if so get 2 V-30's, X-pattern)-Tone settings?-(the only stock-DUAL REVERB 900's that sounded good, had pretty much everything set low, max at 50%)-besides the EQ-(you boosting freq's? what the settings?)-what else is in the signal chain? -( Still got the ULTRA + if you do, bias-mod the bitch & run a stereo rig)-
