Loomis kicks ass!! Saw Nevermore a few years ago and I couldn't believe how good he was!

I don't miss my Powerball at all, but I LOVE my Blackmore!!!

Loomis kills, I can't wait for the new Nevermore album. I love my Loomis 7 string too.

What do you like more about the Blackmore than the Powerball? I A/Bd the Savage 120 to the Powerball and much preferred the Powerball.

Also looks like a new Loomis instructional dvd is coming out.

I've owned a Powerball and a Blackmore (which I've had for quite a few years now), plus I've spent quite a bit of time with a Savage. I really prefer the Blackmore/Savage tones. The Powerball just had a weird mid-range annoying tone I couldn't dial out. When I bought my Blackmore, I had it dialed in within minutes. I love it!

Nothing wrong with the Powerball, I've heard many kick ass clips, but I just prefer the Blackmore. When I think of Engl tone, the Blackmore/Savage are at the top of the list for me.

The Blackmore is a great amp for me. Can't ever see me getting rid of it, but I would love to get some sort of Marshall also.

I would like to try a Fireball some day too!! Ya know how it goes, to many guitars and amps to try, so little $$$$$$!!!

+1 on the Blackmore. I love mine, had it for almost 4 years now. I also dig it more than the PB, and also the FB 100 and Invader 100 that I used to have.

Loomis is sick, no doubt. When I play my seven, if I'm not playing my own shot I am playing Nevermore riffs! Such cool riffs come out of that dude. Looking forward to the Obsidian Conspiracy!

Godless Endeavor is just an amazing amazing CD... solid as hell from start to finish. I look forward to this!!

That's just excellent. That's not a PB though, is it? Looks to be a Savage.

Love TGE and this one is going to be just as excellent, I'm sure.

Last summer he had a dual rectifier triple channel and an Engl SE onstage but the Engl wasn't even on.
