Anyone had their Diezel Herbert modded by Jens? What’s your opinion about the tone and feel of the amp after the mod? Like to know because I’m thinking about having him to mod my Diezel Herbert MKII.

I have a Kruse modded D-Moll (and a EVH 50w). The cool thing about his mods (DeK and Scaling) is that you can dial it back to stock. I only use the DeK on like 9-10 o'clock, but that little extra DeK is well worth it. He also put a tweak on the clean channel- which was already great- and made it the best clean channel ever. Fast turnaround, great communication.
Highly recommended!

Sounds great. What got greater of the gain channels?

Echoing these comments....He did a VH4 for me. Best amp I ever owned....and I've had a BUNCH. Well worth it. He's fast and professional to boot.

EDIT: Found an old clip. Starts off stock then the mod kicks in on the 3rd bar.

Some people say just to adjust the treble and presence, but the DeK does something different than those controls. It gives more Clarity & Decongesting. The only drawback is it drills into your chasis and you're unlikely to recoup any of the $ if you flip the amp. There are nothing but good reviews on Kruse, so you're still likely to get a similar value as a stock amp. For me, it turned out to be a keeper amp so it was well worth it.

I don't have a Deizel, but do have a Kruse modded EVH 5153 EL34 Stealth. On mine it is a Supersonic control and I totally agree that it functions way different than just adjusting the treble and presence. I am not sure I would be loving this amp as much as I am w/out that.
