Thanks for posting, John. This was a fun project. A departure from what I usually do but it turned out great and I was happy with the results. This clip is straight in, no boost.
The owner wanted to get rid of all of the fizz and loose bass in stock form. Took a while and a bunch of component changes but the mission was accomplished. A bonus is that the owner loves the first channel now as well. He said it went from “plexi-ish” to “boosted plexi-ish.”

This is my amp. It’s so damn good now ! It sounds way better in person. Channel one cranked up reminds me of the tone and punch that some my old ccvs had. This is what all Ubers are missing! I hope the new ultras are half as good this GZ modded Twinjet
