My marsha has it, I think it is described as more angry and pissed off in all voicings in the gain (mine has modering switch, saurations BE/HBE).

My Marsha may be the best amp I have ever heard or owned (I have had everything on the planet too). It is the best Marshall tones from unmodded to modded that you can never find in any amp, if that makes any sense. LOL
 
Can't be done on Marsha anymore. :( Can still be done on mod amps.
 
Yeah I'd like to know that too especially since mine has it ! I LOVE this Marsha, very rare that I woudl say that about any amp :>
 
Who knows? Maybe Dave gonna come out with a JC Signature amp?
 
Dave addressed this in another thread. Basically he's working with Jerry on something. I can't wait to hear what it is. :rock:
 
Did anyone see the new issue of GW? There's a pic of JC's rig sporting a pair of Marsha's. :rock:
 
Can you send in an older JCM 800 2 channel for the mod? Will he improve the clean? Actually I have a buddy who does killer work I might have to have a chat with. :)

Well, I did get my SL2 modded from Dave and have had it for a few months now. When I play'd it the first time, I fainted and bumped my head woke up with ruby slippers on :confused: . It chew'd the SL2x into crumbs immediately. I will say its really changed the feel of the amp..more of what I was looking for in Marshall tones. Its definitely not compressed and open as can be. I have the amp set up to Daves mod asw my main, and the other mods sound dark..dark so there is still quite a bit of fine tuning to get the stock versions to even line up and sound somewhat decent. Soon!! Its tight lipped right now and finished. :yes: On another note, I really tried to hate the Rampage but it sounds so unique and play's super nice. The one I have is a proto type, but the same woods. Killer, killer guitar. I was really impressed with the Kahler system too. Back to work!!
