Jet City 20H or 20HV? People still like them?

There was a lot of chatter about these amps when they were new: how do people still feel about them?

I'm looking for essentially a JCM800-ish practice amp that I can use through a 4x12 and pedal board. The 20H seems to go for just a few hundred and looks reasonably well built.

I doubt I would mod it, so I'm pretty much just looking for opinions of what it's like stock.

I had a JCA20 and it was a long time ago. I modded it back then but I can't remember what I did. Lol.

Its OK stock. Modded with what I did early on in the JCA game, it was decent. Honestly I would not buy another, even to mod.

I miss mine. I had the 22H and the HV heads and they were great .... the HV needs to be cranked to get any "magic" out of them. If I still had mine I would mod them both though
