Who is playing guitar?

No one!

Grabbed the album last month and I love it. These boys lay it on pretty thick for a bass/drum two-piece. Reminds me a lot of a Them Crooked Vultures/Jack White/Raconteurs/White Denim hybrid.

I think the story goes: Bass player and vocalist put guitar strings on his bass and the result was something hideously fascinating. Pretty sure the guy from Arctic Monkeys discovered them. Either way, give the album a listen, it's definitely worth it.

Heard them randomly on the radio one day. Immediately watched a bunch of YouTube vids and downloaded the album.
Cool stuff!

cool now jimmy can spend all his time remastering their album

Just can't get into the two member bands. Sure, in the studio they can work around it with overdubs but live, it's really very….2 dimensional. I watched a few live vids and his tone never changes and eventually you're dying to hear more in the soundscape. I dig the drummer a lot and like the way they recorded the studio stuff but it gets tiring because of the lack of textures after a while. His singing is pretty ordinary and he doesn't do much with it. I imagine how brutal this band could be with the right guitar player and a singer who could turn on the fire from time to time (without distorting it in the studio).

Page was asked about what he was listening to these days etc... not all time favorite I imagine...

I have been hearing this song at the gym the last few weeks and that hammer on part and the drums stuck with me.. very catchy. Didn't realize it was a distorted bass through a Fender supersonic!

The bass player runs into octave pedals, and splits his signal through guitar and bass amps, then hits a switcher to get different amp combinations.

Wow love this, instant buy.
It's true I wonder how that sound will hold up. If anyone's ever heard Bolzer in the metal world, it's just two guys, drummer, and a guitarist who uses a 10 string BC Rich Bich. Cool sound, but after a few songs it gets a little fatiguing.

Saw them on Jimmy Fallon a few weeks ago. Kinda catchy, but rather annoying after a few minutes. It's like you wait for a dynamic in the music to change, but it never does because the bass and the guitar are in lock-step with each other.

Cool stuff. Makes me think about Local H and Death From Above 1979. I bet it's fun to play guitar/bass amps like that.
