What are your opinions? One better than the other? There's only a couple dollar's difference between the two, but still curious.

this is a tough one. I have a couple of my first amp i built with f&t. later I got a great deal on the black JJ's. tone wise you would have to be very very trained to hear a diff BUT I keep going back to the first two I built with F&T's as a reference because they stand out tone wise. Could be a lot of things but...??/ if you can get them for the same as the jjs, then go f&t

It seems that the F&T's get positive comments pretty regularly, I just hadn't heard anyone mention the JJ's. Thanks for the advice.

F&T filter caps sound the best to my ears and they are very reliable too.
Also NOS LCR filter caps are really nice too, but make sure that you form properly before using them in an amp.
