I know he toured with Chris Amott and Armageddon, as well as other various guest spots and projects. I have his solo album, (Alignment), too. The guy is pretty sick. He's a shredder yes, but he has some of that Chris Amott tastefulness I dig too. Especially the outro solo at the end. Love those neck pickup tones..

This might be Randall Thrasher tone - I know he was playing them at one point back then.

I like this guy also. He has a heavy sound and style, YJM tone. I saw him open for Joe Stump and he killed it effortlessly.

I hear a mix of Chris Amott and Jeff Loomis in his style. Love his vibrato. Amott is a bit tastier. If you're a fan of Amott, check out his more hard rock themed Armageddon, (the heavier albums are killer too). A bit of a departure from the heavier Armageddon and Arch Enemy. He's singing as well. Chris Amott is in my top 5 favorites ever. He's an amazing, talented, tasteful player.

Some VERY tasty playing on this album. The lead on "The Contract" is gorgeous.
