I'm a big fan of Engl amps in recent years (own an SE and Invader, ex Fireball) but have been always secretly longing for a Diezel. After reading about the D-moll I've finally taken the plunge and will be living the dream shortly. Reading the overwhelmingly positive posts on this forum certainly was a factor in bringing me over the line. Now it's just a few days until I'm fully fledged and I can't wait!
 
No dis to Engl... But your world is about to get seriously rocked :D

Buy a Hagen if you have the dough.

Hi,

I owned the engl SE, my younger brother a powerball.
As soon as i got the Herbert i didnt even touch the SE anymore.
Finally a plug and play amp.
My brother is planning on getting a herbert to and selling his powerball.

Its always personal preverance but for me, id take the herbert over the SE any day.

:yes: I had my Herbert for a while before getting an Invader 100. When I first got the Invader I liked it quite a bit. But then I played the Herbert again... I don't have the Engl anymore :lol: :LOL: It was a pretty awesome amp, but for me the Herby is where it's at!
 
I got the Hagen and thought I was happy. I want a Herbert and a VH4 as well now.

Been 3 weeks and I must say I'm loving me some d-moll. Unbelievable amp. Its become my go to amp and I'm digging the plug and play of it.

Peter, you my friend are a genius!

I'm in the same boat.

I've had a PBII for over a year now and have been digging it a lot recently since I changed some of the settings (which I should have done a while ago).

But even after all that and convincing myself countless times I don't need another amp, I'm still gonna get a Herbie!
