Jose Mods settings on BE100 possible?

I've read more than once that the BE100 is based off the "Jose Mods". I'm not sure exactly what was said but the gist of it is that the BE is somehow similar. If this has some basis in reality I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for getting the BE to sound exactly or close to a Jose modded Marshall?

Well there is some basis but there have been many changes so it's not really that sound.
 
I own a '76 Marshall 50w from the '80s modified by Jose Arredondo (Arrco Elec.), basically the same Marshall circuit but modded with a bit more gain and sustain with 6550 power tubes also Efx-Loop. I also have a BE100 (modified from Dave) Both sound very different from each other. The Jose sounds good for that time period (lots of controversy with Eddy & Jose) but my BE sounds "Wonderful" from the two the BE covers more area (old school) from clean to gain and sounds better and more consistent with so much more tonal options, sounds beautiful (but can also rip your head off) recorded/live.
