Journey Eclipse - Anyone istening?

Got the new Journey album yesterday and had a listen in the car today.

I love Journey but the new album seems to be lacking in songs and each ...er.....piece of music seems to be an extended jam or collection of ideas rather than a song. Can't get into Arnels voice at all and some of Neils solos sound like they were recorded with a POD.

For me a huge huge let down :( maybe it will grow on me.......anyone else listening to it yet? Any opinions?

I am listening....I kinda feel the same. I have only listened to half the album so far, but am gonna give it its fair time frame....Melodicrock.com always overrates things...That new Eden's Curse shouldn't get a 99. It isn't nearly as good as their first 2 albums.
 




they said themselves they didn't rehearse before going into the studio, just kinda did it on the spot, but doesn't seem too bad, have to listen to the rest of the album

does Deen Castronovo the drummer sing lead on any tracks?

the live tracks with him are phenomenal , stunning voice and playing at the same time
