I haven't listened to Journey in years. While it's not the same without Steve Perry, I was totally blown-away by this!

Great voice for sure! ...still trying to sound like Steve Perry though just like the little asian dude. :D

Talented SOB - great voice, and he can wail on drums.. he was on many of those Shrapnel releases back in the day

Why doesn't Steve Perry want to be in the band?

No need for Arnel really   :cheers2:
That's what I am thinking. He's good but DAMN! Deen seems to be the obvious choice.

Isn't that the goal?

Met him a few times, exchanged some emails, when he was in Bad English. Mailed a poster to him of the band that he hadn't seen befor I asked him to sign it. Nicest guy alive. Talented as they come. He deserves all the sucess he gets.

wow I had no idea. But if Steve comes back I want the other steve to come back tooooooooooooooo. yeah buddy.

"Mother, Father" is one of my all-time favorite Journey songs. It didn't have the notoriety that the hits did, but the chops - all the way around - are off the chart. Deen is ridiculously talented and I've been blown away by his ability every time I've seen them live.

yeah...I have the Manilla DVD, and this is one of my favorite songs on it....
