Anybody use an FX8 to switch channels on the new JP2-C? I was wondering if there were any issues?

is this mic on, give Paul an answer. He has 2500 burning a hole in his pocket. LOL

I am debating a new ac unit or this amp.

Playing the amp would make you cool so you wouldn't need the ac unit. :m17:

Your in Michigan, you don't need an ac unit. You do need a heater and the jp2c can help heat your house. :D

Ha!! I know. It was a fn blizzard today!

I'm giving the JP2C a try with the FX8.
I got the channels to switch by using the preset midi #'s.
Haven't figured out how to do it with using the store switch on the back yet.
No problems setting each scene with exactly want I want the amp to do.

Very cool. Keep me updated. I'm considering taking the plunge and grabbing a JP-2C here soon. I'm wondering if everything on the FS will be operable using the FX8.

I just purchased a used FX8, it should be here later this week.
Reading through the manuals the FX8 provides you the same standard footswitch options plus the ability to toggle shred and FX loop on/off.
You cannot use both at the same time. Meaning you either use the standard footswitch or the MIDI (FX8) if I understood the manual correctly.

Little more playing with it last night figured out how to add reverb to the patches using the store feature on the amp. Right now I'm just plugged straight in to the front haven't tackled 4CM yet

Where the heck do you get a decent AC unit installed for $2.5k ??? I need one...guess that's not happening in Cali, LOL

The JP-2C works great with the FX8. I use the 4CM and can pretty much operate all the functions using the FX8.
