Just bought a 2016 BE-100...How is it different than the others?

I purchased online what seems to be a mint 2016 BE-100. What I wanted to know is how is this production year different than the other years as far as tone goes?

I think there were some changes in 2018 but I literally only know this because of a recent AxeFX update and the owner of Fractal mentioned something about how Dave changed some things in 2018. Can’t remember exactly what it was though.

Pre 2016 used JJ power tubes, nfb on 16 ohm tap, Mallory coupling caps and no gain structure switch.

2016 up have TAD power tubes, nfb on 4 ohm tap, synergy coupling caps, gain structure switch added.

pre 2016 is smoother, darker. 2016 up brighter and more aggressive.

Probably darker and smoother than the newer ones.
Filtering is different too, but that's where the magic is
Personally, I think this is the best version, but you HAVE to move the NFB connection from the speaker jack to the 4 ohm tap.
Don't sweat the Synergy vs Mallory cap thing, and the structure switch is an easy mod, if you want to add that.
