Just bought a Soldano Avenger 100......

.....what should I expect? It's got the effects loop from the factory as well.

Everybody tells me they need a boost for sick metal tones....how true is that?

Also, I just saw a FJA Modded Soldano Avenger youtube video that absolutely KILLED....apparently it's just an added gain mod and el34's instead of 5881's.

I had one for about a year and really liked it, i loved it with a boost for heavy stuff.

WTF dime? Did you off the Fireball already? Tell me about it, please. I have an Avenger 100, no loop, EL34 model. I think it does metal great. I am not a boost kinda guy.

I only got the Engl Fireball 100 to trade it for a Mako Dorado, that's it.

However, I did make a clip of the Engl Fireball 100 and I will post it along with a review (keep in mind I am NOT a fan of the Engl tone in general) in about an hour in a seperate post
