Just bought my first VH4....a small wish.

First off, I LOVE THIS AMP!

Channel 3, everything at noon = THE tone I've had in my head for years. Thank you to the Diezel crew for putting this amp out there

My only wish for this amp is that the buttons were blue instead of red. I have a strange affinity for blue and purple lighting (every LED I can get my hands on in my rig has been swapped out).

It may be blasphemy, but any idea where I could source blue versions of those buttons?

One again, this amp is amazing. I'll post pictures when the new case comes in and I get the rig put together.

The switches are out of production and we have
to order minumum 1000 pieces to get the red colour.
Blue is impossible.

Peter, thanks for replying personally, that's awesome!

Oh well, it'll stay a wish, then haha. Gotta love when components go out of production. I used to do inventory control for an industrial lighting company, and a big part of my job was sourcing replacements for out-of-production and non-RoHS complaint parts. Good times.

All I need now are a few Diezel cabs, a Hagen and maybe a backup VH4 that I can keep in the studio.

What could I expect from the VH4 if I were to put KT88's in it as opposed to the Ruby 6L6's that are in it now?

I have deep wish for you Peter as well: Do NOT never ever change them in blue as a standard option. Im getting sick and tired of all of new equipment coming with these blue "play faster" -leds nowadays.

Don´t like the big bottles KT88 and 6550´s personally.
The amp will get hot if You bias them right.
Give the KT77-JJ a try.
