I'm a big fan of vibe and I have several in the studio, but that one is deep, warm, and features like sculpting LFO's, vibrato / chorus footswitch ( simple but just I did not found anorher one with that footshich ) makes it really great.

sounds fantastic...

i think it sounds great!

i love the sound of a great univibe but as i have learned with "special" fx like it or flangers, envelope filters, unless it is a component of a multifx unit i currently use live, *i* am inclined to pass on such attention/space/money grabbing items that *can* end up being a bit gimmicky or overdone for the sake of justifying a purchase.

i used to have an original mxr flanger until i discovered the flanger in the replifex i owned back then did that sound unbelievably well so off the box went, etc.

but playing around with unis and fuzzes doing hendrix style is great fun and more practical if you cover hendrix tunes or that era/style with your band.

After you spend some time with it post on this thread what you think of it. I would be interested.

that demo was off the chain. i would love to hear carl throwin down on that.

well I have it for a few days and I can't live without it. I got some other vibes but that one is so musical , deep and intense...the vibrato mode makes a kind of pitch shifted based chorus that sounds fantastic too, I'll probably demo it too.

what does it mean ? ( sorry I'm..FRENCH !!!! ^^)

Yeah, that was the best demo of the Korg NuVibe that I've seen so far. The only problem was that it was too short. I wanted to hear a few more minutes at least.

Thanks. I'll do an other one in vibrato mode ! Sounds awesome !

One thing I noticed : if you don't plug the expression pedal, you get more intensity, and you can get slower cycles from the speed knob. The expression pedal turns the effect on around 2, I use it under 1.

Well done Tristan.
I been a fan of your demo's since your VHT days.

A good point, Korg asked their distributors worlwide to use this new video to promote the nuvibe. Many players ( like me ) wanted to see more than the official video !

That's very cool.

I have been using a Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe about fifteen years.....that and a Cry Baby 535Q is all I usually use when playing live.

Congrats on the vibe.

However, I really don't like vibes with a Les Paul. Too fat and sounds all wrong. IMO.

I just got mine today, and it is awesome! :)

Vibes I've owned in the past are: RM Voodoo Vibe, Mojo Vibe, Mega-Vibe, Deja-Vibe, and Tube-Vibe. My Rev 1 Tube-Vibe was always my favorite, but the Nuvibe is even better. To give you an idea of how large it is, here's a pic... I placed a standard stomp-box in the pic for scale.
