and imo,

they sounded great!!!!!!y'know, the way records used to be made.by the band.

im all for technological breakthroughs.and i use plenty of technology myself.but every once in a while i take a step back and just go..."ahhh,thats what im aiming for"

70s era aerosmith is right at the top of my list of stranded island music that i just could never live without.

carry on.

I'm in for 70's Aerosmith. As a collector, I only collect their live stuff from '73/74

Two of the best rock 'n' roll albums of all time.

Don't argue with me about it either, 'cause you'll just be wrong and paint yourself the fool.

Those are great albums with awesome production...and not an easy sound to cop these days.

I remember Jake E Lee talking about the raw, old-school sound he got on the second Badlands album...something to the effect of how much time and money to took to make the album sound poorly produced

It's their 2 best albums

I'm not into classic rock these days, but I own Rocks and still play it at work once in a while.

Same here.

I know I'm too young (I'm 22) to fully appreciate Aerosmith the way some of you guys have, but 'Kings and Queens' is the reason I started playing music in the first place.

I was three years old when I first heard it and Joey Kramer made me want to be a drummer so badly. I discovered guitar because of Eddie later on but Aerosmith is still my all time favorite group.

One Way Street
S.O.S Too Bad
Adam's Apple
Lick and a Promise
Sight For Sore Eyes

So much diversity in those alone.

Rocks?? TITA????

Bloody classics man!! I find inspiration in these every time I throw them into the player or their tunes come up on my iTunes rotation. Good ol' dirty rockstar drug laden groupie loving too cool long hair loud playing rock and roll. Absolutely nothing wrong with this.

That's one of my favorite tunes ever. Back in the Saddle is the tune that turned me into a hard rocker when I was a kid.

Toys in the Attic is the first album I ever heard. Still one of the all time bench marks for tone

Good shit there.....
for me.....Gems....and Toys in the Attic....

TOYS has got to be one of the top 10 rock albums of all time. I love it.

Both classics as well as Get Your Wings. I grew up on these awesome LPs from S/T all the way up to Draw The Line, but they started to go down hill after DTL and never have been the same. I cannot listen to the newer stuff!!!

Amazing what they did with under 16 tracks. I love panning old albums from classic rock artists. Such a simple technique, drier guitar sounds. Nothing over produced.

Joe Perry's rhythm tone on Sweet Emotion is possibly one of the greatest guitar tones ever, IMHO. I can't get enough of it.
