...for my new LPC. The stock bridge pickup in it is anemic under low gain. I am hoping that the RY will cover the ground of lower gain styles as well as face ripping metal. Pretty sure it will. I intentionally did not order a ceramic magnet pickup because I think they can be a bit harsh in an ebony fingerboard guitar. I have a Painkiller in one of my LPCs and it is tight as all hell but is a bit bright for single note playing. Have an A5 Warpig in another that sounds killer.

Anyone have experience with one of these in an LPC or LPS?

I put one in an ESP LTD AX260, which is a mahogany neck through. It sounds really fat, but is really articulate. Should work out well for you.

I tried one. For me I went with the Cold Sweat instead, but I think you want more output than I did. I have the Rebel Yells in a few stratish guitars and love it.

You're gonna shit yer pants :D

Those are some SERIOUS pups!! Nice choice...REALLY nice choice.

Pretty sure Todd Duane (ampaddict) rocks a Rebel Yell equipped LP now and then.

A friend had one in his LPC and I played it and thought it sounded awesome!! Retains tone nicely when you roll the volume down too.

I have a Cold Sweat but I have never installed it. It is the brightest pickup BKP makes and that is not what I am after. As far as output goes, they are really close. It is really about the A5 magnet for me. I want an A5 equipped pickup that has tight bottom and the RY seems to be the best bet. I had a Nailbomb and I liked it a lot and the RY is close to the NB but with tighter bottom. Sounded like a win for me.

I have a pair in my LP std. Don't think I will ever change pickups again. They are so touch sensitive and articulate, you get so much control with them.

Love mine in my Ibanez J.Custom.

You getting the covered Rayguns?

I Had uncovered for awhile, thought they were a cleaner better JB with lower output. In the end i wanted a little hotter pup.

Jason, I'm pretty sure you are going to like the RY. They are really kick as in Les Pauls, and you can use them in the lower tunings and stay intact with the tightness. One of the best Alnico pikcups I've played. I really like the Black Dog as well, though its a bit more open and darker.

Cool!

I'm about to put a rebel 7 in my Rico that's being shipped. Or try the new Blackhawks
