Just bought one of these from http://www.soundsgreatmusic.com and it should arrive sometime in the week.

I ordered it in Zebra and F-spaced for my GMW Superstrat. The GMW has a Duncan Custom in it right now, but its not exactly right for me soundwise. So im hoping the Aldrich will sound cool!!

Let us know what you think!

Will do Tommy! The Aldrich has an Alnico5 magnets, whereas the Custom is Ceramic. I always preffered Alnico 2 humbuckers for the sweeter top end, but the Alnico5 magnet is cool cause its punchier sounding but still warm!

Should sound nice!

i like mine a lot =]

its hot, but still very clear sounding!

I have a set of Aldrich pickups in my Johnny Hiland PRS and they sound great! They are a little bright with the PRS but not bad. Pretty well balanced overall.

:)

Thats great to know man! I have been told by several guys who own the pickup, that it has the power of a high output pickup, but the clarity and dynamics of a lower output pickup!

If thats true, i think i will really like it!

Cool man! Do they sound similar to any other pickups you have tried?

Hhhmmm....not really. They kind of have their own tone. Actually, to be quite honest, my favorite pickup combo is a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and a Jazz or 59 in the neck. The Aldrich pickups are high output, but clear. Kind of difficult to explain.

JB will have his hands on my PRS very soon and I'm sure he will post a full review!!

You're going to need (6) ISP Decimators all turned on as well.

Haha! I just use the Rocktron Guitar Silencer.. even with all the knobs turned to the lowest settings it still removes every last bit of noise
