getting mine from sweetwater

all theirs are i bought one of the last two of their pre orders.

previously you could only get these specs with their gibson custom shop benchmark series

but this one actually has an ebony fretboard not rich lite!

hope i dont get one that is too heavy

but v's are usually pretty light so as long as it clocks in around 8 pounds i will be happy.

I have the kelliher golden axe with lace nitro hemis. I also put a set of the kelliher disonant aggressors in a lpc. Comparing the two the nitros are a little hotter and the aggressors are a bit more articulate. I dig them a lot. For modern hard rock and metal styles they are great.

Just got an update from sweetwater and the July shipment is now supposedly delayed until October at the soonest. Order cancelled... Pretty disappointing first order from them, although I realize it is mostly out of their control.

I found a used one on reverb already and ordered it right as I cancelled my order with sweetwater. Ill have it in a few days and saved $200 over new...

It needed a setup real bad upon arrival, but after the setup it plays and sounds great.
I really dig the fat neck, and the ebony is smooth and fast to play on, the pickups are without a doubt suited for metal playing for sure, hot and chunky while staying tight.
I won't say it's as good as my Gibsons but the guitar really rocks for playing metal.

Epiphone are putting out some awesome guitars as of late. I got the Bjorn Gelotte LP Custom and it smokes. That one looks really cool and I like that it has a thick baseball bat neck and an ebony fretboard. Solid buy for sure.

I agree. I will say I am kind of a Gibson snob, but I love this guitar.
