Soon a new Barber Tone Press should arrive at my doorstep! Ive seen and heard a bunch of good things about this pedal and cant wait to incorporate it into my rig. I also bought a bunch of stuff from George L so i'll be making a lot of custom cables too in the near future to get everything in my rack all organized.

I'll be interested in how you like the Tone Press. I loveBarber pedals, and just recently realized that my HBE CPR compressor isn't really fitting in my rig anymore. I've basically been waiting for a reason to "need" a new compressor so I could try out the Tone Press.

Haha i hear you. Yeah i've gone through a few compressors in the past, BOSS, MXR and what not and none of them were really doing it for me. I'll definitely post a review once i get my hands on it.

I'd be interested in a review too, I'm looking to try out some new compressors. :D

Don't forget about the internal trim pot. It basically affects the color of the compressor, so if you want more color to the sound, be sure to adjust it.

My only complaint about the tone press is the noise. It may just be that my Diamond Bass Comp is remarkably quiet.

Yours was really noisy? All the vids I've seen it seemed to be very quiet.

Not unusable noisy, but much more so than the Diamond Comp. All compressors will add some noise obviously. With the Tone press, I just notice if I turn the sustain and blend up too high. I have the sustain at about 12-1 oclock and the blend at about 10 oclock and the noise is fine. I more noticed the noise with my bass rig. I think you will be fine, I just thought I would bring it up. It certainly hasn't made me sell the pedal. I like to use mine to add sustain when playing clean or low gain passages with the amp volume down. I don't often get to crank my amp and get the natural sustain that cranking provides.

Cool! I need a new comp myself. I got rid of my Boss compressor and I can't choose between the MXR custom shop, analog man, and a couple others. Post up a review!
