I think the cover should have Zachman's rig on it.

:hys:

I am making a few changes to the rig this year.

New Kriz Kraft style Rack case:

Replacing Lexicon PCM80 w/ a PCM81
Replacing Rocktron 300G compressor w/ a DBX 160A
Replacing MXR 10 band eq w/ a Vibe/Trem
Adding Dytronics CS5 Tri Stereo Chorus

Yeah, great book.I ordered it back when Scott first mentioned it here.Does a good job of showcasing different gear and explaining how it functions. It is kind of basic, but a handy reference just the same.

Some might argue that Zach's rig would be better placed on the cover of "Monster Rigs from the 80's and 90's".

Not a knock on Zach's rig at all. It's clearly INSANELY good, and I love rack rigs. It's just that, in this day and age, the trend seems to be more toward simplicity than complexity.

;)

I've always followed my own path, rather then follow trends. I guess my thinking for my big rig was-- I didn't want to face obsolescence, again, so built this monstrosity so I could do whatever I wanted, from 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's 90's, 2000 through current day sounds. It'll do whatever I tell it to do, with no compromises. ;)
