K100's in an EVH 5153 combo?

Hey guys,

I have some spare K100's and even a v30 lying around. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with either a pair of K100's, a K100 V30 combo, or hell...even a K100 G12T-75 combo in an EVH 5150 iii 2x12 combo amp?

I keep my EVH at my parents house for whenever I visit, so I can't simply try it out at the moment. However, I plan on shipping them to my parent's place so I can eventually pop them in and try them when I visit next.

Any input would be appreciated!

Do it. Swapping speakers in the combo is easy. No soldering as they are clipped in. I tried a 8ohm Mesa v30 in mine with one of the greenbacks. Didn’t care for it, and took it out same day. I like the greenbacks, but don’t let that stop ya from trying different combinations.
