Suhr Standard Legacy, Limited Edition w/ Floyd Rose in Transparent Carmel finish - KEEPING, TRYING THE 18V & 24V MODS
KEEPING IT - I'M GOING TO TRY THE 18 VOLT AND 24 VOLT MODS AND SEE IF I LIKE THE EMG 85 A LITTLE MORE
Picked this up and few months ago. Love the way it looks, plays, and I dig the sound of the EMG SA pickups, but I'm just not jelling with the 85 in the bridge. Listening to clips, I'm not sure the 81, or any other EMG humbuckers in white/ivory will do it for me as replacements. I'm tempted to pull the pickups and put in a set of EMG Retro Actives to see if I'd like those more, but I feel like the white/ivory pups are an important part of the aesthetic on this guitar.
Weighs 7.34 lbs on my scale.
No issues with this guitar. There is one blemish on the top left horn (see picture), otherwise the guitar would be about as close to mint condition as you could get.
Comes with G&G case.
