Kemper A/B test can you tell which is which?

Which one is the Amp & which one is Kemper?

Just profiled my 5153 Channel 3 using the kemper. For kicks I made an A/B clip, One of them is what the mics were hearing without even going into the kemper, and one of them is the finished profile recorded from kemper. On a side note, I made a very subtle eq change after but is very subtle.

Can you tell which is which? very brief pause in between

 
Keep it coming. like I said I did a tiny bit of refining before I saved the profile, so that may account for the slightest change, but dang, talk about getting close. I will reveal which is which soon.
 
Thats pretty close ,if I had to venture a guess the second one that sounds a lil more muffled or fatter is probably the amp .usually the modellers tend to be a bit clearer...

thats crazy close though for a dry tone in a mix, not a chance in hell would i tell..

listening again ..Honestly have no idea ..lol .Its that close Im sure people through studio monitors would pick something out but I hear none of the offending modeller artifacts anywhere in that
 
They sound different which is most likely because of your tweaking. BUT... One doesn't sound any more "real" than the other. This is the only fancy computer type thing that has ever interested me. I've never even had any rack gear and have ZERO desire for an AXFX. But the Kemper seems fantastic.
 
very close. there is a small bass/resonance difference detectable in the chugs. don't know which is which.
 
Kemper 1st, 5153 second.... unless the slight EQ change was made to give more attack and detail in which case Kemper is second. I'll stick with my initial guess though.
 
My 3G kept messing up my post. Still in before the reveal though.

I think the first one is the amp and the second is the kemper. I personally prefer the second one though. It seems a little bit smoother, not so harsh which I prefer.

Either way-damn close, unbelievably close.
 
Kemper the first, real amp the second.

still doesn't really matter because the kemper sounds VERY VERYgood.

I agree there seems to be a bit more bite to the second .either are impressive .but I like the second better
 
Kemper 1st, Amp 2nd.

I only say this because the low end seemed more prevalent in the 2nd portion of the clip and I'm assuming the profiling my not have exacting LPFs in it, but then again, I don't care if I'm completely and utterly wrong. Thing sounds perfect really.

damn, that sounds REALLY close and I am listening on pretty good headphones (ultrasone) I just guessed and voted amp 1st kemper 2nd.
 
I have no idea which is which. The second is much brighter to me. I didn't think they sounded the same. I mean the essence is there, but one is much brighter to me. Almost like a cab was changed - amp characteristics there, but different frequencies emphasized. I would probably like them mixed lol.
